GoogleThe folding phone of, is known as pixels The fold, has been the talk of the town for a while now and every time we hear rumors of it being pushed back for different reasons. Now, we’ve got our first ‘unofficial’ look at the alleged Pixel Fold.
The Pixel Fold renders, courtesy of Front Page Tech, are said to be based on actual images of the third iteration of the foldable, codenamed Felix. And it looks a lot like that Oppo Find NInstead of Samsung Galaxy Z FoldThus has a more pocket-friendly form factor.
It appears to be a foldable on the market – folding inwards – with a regular-sized cover screen on the front and a larger screen inside. On the back, we see a camera module, similar to the recent Pixel, with a triple camera setup. The finish of the foldable will be the same Pixel 7 Pro – Metal frame with glossy glass back – Coming in two colors – Obsidian and Chalk.
Google’s Pixel-esque folding smartphone is coming next year
The renders further detail the design – showing the top and bottom speakers, with a mmWave 5G Antenna above. Meanwhile, the power button is on the side which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
So, how much will Google’s upcoming folding Pixel cost? Prossers suggest it will be priced at $1,799 (Rs 1,45,930). If rumors are to be believed, the Pixel Fold will be released in May 2023, sometime around the I/O event.
Not much is known about the specifications of the folding Pixel, but according to sources familiar with the development, “one should always expect Pixel-esque performance” with the “Pixel flagship camera treatment”.
