New Royal Enfield Himalayan
Royal Enfield has rolled out the new Himalayan ADV for 2023 with some new updates for aesthetics. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The company has also opened order books for the motorcycle and has started customer test rides at all authorized Royal Enfield stores in India.
As part of the latest update, the motorcycle has received three new color options in the form of Glacier Blue, Sleet Black and Dune Brown. These options will retail alongside existing colorways such as Gravel Grey, Pine Green and Granite Black.
The new bike has already been showcased at Rider Mania 2022. Apart from the new color options, the motorcycle also now features a neat debossed logo on the grille and side panels along with a USB charging port for greater usability and convenience.
The company says that the new Glacier Blue and Dune Brown color options take inspiration from the ‘epics, vastness and magnificence’ of the Himalayas. The company has also reintroduced the popular Sleet pattern but in a new black version named Sleet Black. This particular option takes inspiration from the razor-sharp sleet glistening on rock surfaces.
The company originally launched the Himalayan in 2016. Royal Enfield says these have been the best performing models in its portfolio. Save for the color updates, no other major changes have been made to the motorcycle.
