Fresh from the launch of the new Super Meteor 650 at the 2022 EICMA, Royal Enfield is now all set to unveil the cruiser motorcycle in India on November 18. Royal Enfield will do so at the 2022 Rider Mania festival which is all set to happen. Between 18-20 November in Goa
The Super Meteor 650 will be the third motorcycle powered by the brand’s 648cc parallel-twin engine. The mill produces 48 hp and 52 Nm of peak torque across all three models – Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 and Super Meteor 650. The engine is mated to the same 6-speed transmission.

Royal Enfield’s flagship cruiser is also equipped with many features first seen on Royal Enfield. It includes LED headlights and tail lights, and 43-mm upside-down fork suspension for the front wheel. It is the first 650cc bike in the line-up to be available with RE’s Tripper navigation pod.

As for its design, the RE Super Meteor 650 is iconic in every respect. From the front wheel to the teardrop-shaped fuel tank. Based on earlier spy shots, the Super Meteor’s seating configuration also looks very comfortable, and with the handlebars retracted, you shouldn’t get tired during long-distance touring.

The RE Super Meteor 650 will be available in two variants – Solo Tourer and Grand Tourer. The first is a single-seat version and will be available with both Astral and Interstellar color schemes. The latter gets a double-seat version and will be available with Celestial color schemes.

Talking about its price, it is likely that the Super Meteor 650 will be the most expensive motorcycle in the Royal Enfield line-up. It will command a premium over the Interceptor 650, and the Super Meteor 650 is expected to be priced between Rs 3.25 lakh and Rs 3.55 lakh.
