Ram Sethu’s box office collection: Akshay Kumar’s film closes to 5 crores after 5 days | Jobi Cool

Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Sethu’s fifth day earnings reversed the film’s downward trend and collected Rs. 7.25 crores. The action-adventure, which released on October 25, saw good growth at most prominent centres, but the gains in public pockets remained limited.

The collection of Ram Setu on Saturday has increased by about 20 percent compared to Friday. On Sunday, the film is expected to grow even more significantly, finally breaking the 50 crore mark at the box office – a surprisingly low total for a film to open during the prosperous Diwali holiday season.

With all eyes on how Ram Sethu fares on Monday, the film may end its first week at the theaters with less than 600 crores, which doesn’t look encouraging considering its low single-digit gross so far.

Ram Sethu won’t help Akshay Kumar at the box office either, as the actor has had a disappointing year with several flops, including Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, and Raksha Bandhan. However, Ram Sethu is likely to surpass Samrat Prithviraj to become Akshay Kumar’s highest grosser of the year, earning Rs 68 crore.
