Wash. The Navi Mumbai Sports Association (NMSA) will conduct the 2022 All India Badminton Sub-Badminton Junior (Under 13) Ranking Tournament from 31st October and will conclude on 6th November.
The tournament is organized by Padukone Sports Management and is being held by Thane District Badminton Association under the auspices of Maharashtra Badminton Association and Badminton Association of India for the first time in the city.
Along with boys and girls pairs, there will be four categories for boys and girls. The tournament will be conducted by the representatives of the Indian Badminton officials headed by the chief referee Satish Mallya.
Thane’s Yash Gaurav Sinha was awarded the best score in the boys’ singles category while Riyan Malhan was the runner-up, on the other hand, Hitaishri L. Rajaiah will lead the girls’ singles event while Lakshmi Supriya Rao Paula, who won first. The India Sub Junior tournament in Hyderabad is the second.
Organizing secretary of the tournament Sriharsha Bade said. “The Yonex-Sunrise SBI Life All India Sub Junior (Under-13) Badminton Ranking Tournament to be conducted by NMSA, Navi Mumbai has received a whopping 556 entries from across the globe. country out of 440 players. SBI Life is the main sponsor of this tournament. Yonex Sunrise is the equipment partner for the tournament and Yonex AS2 shuttles will be used during the week-long tournament. A total prize money of Rs 3 lakh will be at stake, with the single boys and girls getting a cash prize of Rs 36,000 each and the runners-up getting Rs 18,000 for their efforts.”
